While many of us relaxed over the bank holiday weekend, Luke Davies was busy battling it out on the badminton court and picking up a silver medal for his efforts.
Playing in the Kent U17 Bronze in Gillingham, Luke reached the final of the mixed doubles with partner Bea Noakes. In their box they squeezed past the top seeds 21-20, then in the final against another Sussex pair they lost out in extended play 22-20.
No rest this week either for Luke as he attends the 3-day FastStep Summer Camp alongside two other medalists from the Kent tournament, Scott and Robyn Haysom.
